DISCIPLINE & COMPLAINTS The Six Nations Police Commission receives complaints from members of the service and community members. The Commission ensures a proper process for complaints, grievances or disciplinary action is followed subsequent to procedures established by the Police Commission. Public complaints are to be in writing in the form of a signed letter or affidavit, addressed to the Police Commission, or the Chief of the Six Nations Police. Anonymous complaints are not accepted. A complaint may be made in person by the party initiating the complaint. The Six Nations Police Commission strives to ensure community protection, the maintenance of proper standards within the service and public confidence in our police service. |
