IN AN EMERGENCY
CALL 911

Your direct line to dispatchers who have immediate contact with Six Nations Police, Fire & Ambulance 911 is the fastest, easiest way to contact all emergency services.

If you call Six Nations Police during regular office hours, you will reach our office receptionist and not a dispatcher. If you call before or after regular office hours, your call will go to OPP Communications Centre and they will dispatch Six Nations Police.

The Six Nations Police Service would like to congratulate Krissy E. Powless, as the recipient of the 2008 Adam Burning Scholarship!

2007 Adam Burning Scholarship Recipient, David Lickers
2006 Adam Burning Scholarship Recipient, Courtney Skye

In Memory of CST. Adam Burning

On January 26th, 2005, Constable Adam Burning passed away suddenly.

His death, at such a young age, was devastating to his family and friends, fellow police officers and civilian members. While his career in the law enforcement was brief, his impact was great. Adam's memory is an inspirtation to anyone who has a dream and is determined to achieve it.

Adam persevered until such time as he became a police officer. While initial attempts were unsuccessful. he did not give up. Each time, he came back more determined to fulfill his dream.

In May of 2003, Adam was hired. Almost immediately, everyone could see how much he had to offer this service and his community. He was dedicated to his profession. Having worked so hard to get here he did not take his responsibilities lightly. He set an example for all of us.

In 2004, the Six Nations Police Service started a $500 Scholarship for community members pursuing law enforcement as a career. In memory of Adam that Scholarship has been dedicated to his spirit as the Six Nations Police Adam Burning Memorial Scholarship.

Also, "the Adam Cup" our annual hockey tournament organized by Constable Derrick Anderson and Six Nations Police Service Members is held in Adam's Memory.
